If you're anything like us and have hours on top of hours in Career Mode on FIFA, you've definitely found yourself bored after just a few seasons in the game.

If you tend to pick your favourite teams, chances are you're gonna win the league and champions cup in less than a day. But although watching your beloved Tottenham or Dortmund actually lift a major trophy for once is nice, it tends to get pretty stale pretty quick.

To combat this we made a list of five clubs - going from easiest to toughest - that you can take charge of and hopefully rekindle some of that good ol fashioned career mode joy that we all miss so sorely.

#5 Villareal CF:

The Yellow Submarines are the first entry on our list and will perhaps offer you one of the biggest David vs. Goliat stories in European football.

La Liga has been largely dominated by Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid for well over a decade now, it's about time someone made their mark at the top of the Spanish table.

The Castellon province club finished 5th in the league for the 2016/17 season and has been poking the big fish on their shoulders for quite some time, even registering some great home wins against the top clubs on occasion.

Some of your highlight players will be striker Cedric Bakambu, midfielder Manu Trigueros, defender Ruben Semedo and goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo.

As manager, you will be able to spend an approximate of £27.000.000 in your first season. We would recommend looking at the centre of midfield, either going for further depth or adding a star to your ranks.

#4 OGC Nice

Situated in the 5th biggest city in France, Nice offers one of the best dark horse alternatives for a title challenge.

Last season Monaco proved that PSG's apparent stranglehold on Ligue 1 can be broken, but with signings like Neymar and Mbappe the Parisians have their eyes dead set on regaining the throne.

With Monaco having been picked apart in the summer by Europe's finest, it will be a chance for you to follow the red & whites example in the league and grind out an intense battle for first against the team that seems to have unlimited resources.

Nice certainly has the pedigree to win the title having already done so four times before in their history, and with players like Wesley Sneijder, Mario Balotelli, Malang Sarr, Allan St. Maximin, Vincent Koziello and Jean Seri the firepower and building blocks are definitely there.

#3 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Super-agent Jorge Mendes represents massive figures in football such as Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez and Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese has now firmly printed his grasp on Championship side Wolverhampton, acting as advisor for the higher ups of the club and even securing the wolves massive signings from his own book of clients.

The Wanderers certainly have an intriguing history with three first division and four FA Cup titles in their trophy cabinet, and a budget of almost £20.000.000 definitely gives reason to believe they could push on to reach the top flight once again.

Youngest ever Champions League captain Ruben Neves joined the side this summer despite interest from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, and Diogo Jota and Helder Costa promise to spice up your attack.

#2 Atlanta United

Playing their first ever match this year, the new MLS franchise has hit the ground running in the North American football league.

The Georgia based side recorded the highest ever attendance in the MLS with an incredible 71,824 fans present for their game against Toronto FC 22. October 2017.

This year's edition of FIFA offers brand new MLS tv-coverage packages for visuals in the game and it would be foolish to miss out on this opportunity to explore the beautiful game in the land of opportunity.

Atlanta does not boast a very strong squad, but midfielder Manuel Almiron and striker Josef Martinez offer a good starting point for you to grow your side with a cool £14.000.000 in the bank.

#1 F.C. Hansa Rostock

Previous years have seen Portsmouth become the symbol of rags to riches stories within FIFA campaigns.

The addition of a third tier Bundesliga aims to offer that type of team yet again.

East-German side Hansa were mainstays in the Bundesliga from 1995, but sharply began declining just before their home country hosted the World Cup in 2006.

Hertha Berlin is now one of the only East-German sides still in the Bundesliga but reviving Hansa would even things yet again.

A 29.000 capacity stadium proves the club could still provide an audience with incredible atmosphere.

This will be the deepest challenge for someone looking for a lower division club with just a handful of players having a potential of over 80, goalkeeper Grundermann a potential future captain.
